SERIOUS TIMES
Paddy Stratton and John Row team up to produce ‘Serious Times’, an exciting mix of spoken word, song and music.
Paddy’s career spans thirty five years during which time he has played with a host of bands including reggae band, Junior C Reaction whose single entered the mid reaches of the charts.
Perhaps he is best known for his collaborations, over the last ten years, with The Levellers. His songs have featured on several of their albums.
He is often on stage with Simon Friend as well as appearing solo in halls, folk clubs and festivals around the country including Beautiful Days 2005.
John Row’s poetry has taken him from the Texas Hill Country to the former East Germany, collaborating with jazz, reggae, punk and folk musicians.
In serious Times these two combine their talents to produce an ad-hoc commentary on love, life and politics in the twenty first century. |
